Last night I performed at the UN in support of the first anniversary of the adoption of the UN SDG’s and the importance of ICT and Competitiveness as a tool for sustainable development. The event was a high Level Reception for the Launching of the World Organization of Governance & Competitiveness Art Exhibition and Fashion for Development. I was on my way to the stage when meeting her excellency, Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, whom I have met before while performing at the United Nations South South Awards. The Prime Minister was on her way out and kindly enough agreed to stay for my performance. I performed two original songs: “Symphony of Brotherhood” featuring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and “Freedom” featuring Nelson Mandela. I was very honored to be a part of this event, heavily attended by dignitaries and ambassadors, and very grateful for the support of her excellency, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. It is a privilege to create and perform music without borders and in support of the UN sustainable development goals. Thank you everyone for your kind words and support, I had a great time meeting so many of you in person. Special thanks go to my amazing team, Ambassador Francis Lorenzo and my manager Josue Sejour.
